Alumni Stories

Students who graduate with a degree in the humanities and social sciences (HSS) at the College of Charleston are equipped with transferable skills that create opportunities to the obvious and the no-so-obvious career paths.  Surveys show that employers seek students from HSS majors due to their ability to think critically, adapt to new situations, and write well. Graduates are therefore able to maximize creativity in and out of the workplace due to the skills they learned from their classes in the humanities and social sciences - the core of the College's liberal arts degree.
