About General Studies

The general studies program is perfect for you if you prefer not to choose a specific major. 

In this program, you'll have the opportunity to create a customized degree by choosing from more than 80 minors offered by the College while developing the skills you need to be successful in the 21st century. You'll complete the usual 122 hours of coursework, including general education requirements and electives, plus the requirements for two selected minors. 

A totally unique degree program 

The flexibility of the general studies program provides you with a top-notch liberal arts education and allows you to create your own, individualized program of study. Be creative and build the degree that fits your academic needs.
